Which system is best: on-grid, hybrid or off-grid?

It depends on your consumption pattern, outage frequency, backup expectations, available grid supply and budget. A site and load assessment should come before the final recommendation.

How is the required solar capacity calculated?

We review electricity bills, connected loads, operating hours, peak demand, available roof area, shading and desired backup duration. Capacity should not be selected only from a single monthly bill figure.

Can SFC Experts assist with net metering?

We can assist with the technical documentation and coordination steps applicable to the project. Eligibility, commercial arrangements and approval remain subject to the rules and requirements in force at the relevant time.

Do solar panels provide backup during an outage?

A conventional on-grid system normally does not provide backup when the grid fails. Backup requires an appropriately designed hybrid or off-grid configuration with compatible battery storage and load separation.

What maintenance does a solar system require?

Typical needs include safe module cleaning, visual inspection, tightening checks where appropriate, protection-device review, monitoring analysis and prompt investigation of alarms or reduced production.
